Featuring a garden, El Patio de los Jazmines Boutique-House provides accommodations in Consuegra. Free Wifi is offered throughout the property, and private parking is available on site.

This hotel is in a small town in La Mancha that has a remarkable set of preserved windmills. We hardly expected to find lodging as charming and elegant in such a small town, but it was beautiful and very convenient to our mission of photographing the windmills. Our host could not have been more welcoming and helpful and his dinner recommendation (the Gaudy) was perhaps the best meal we’ve had in a month of travel in Spain. He even included two kinds of homemade pound cake with the lavish breakfast buffet that greeted us the next morning. If your travels take you anywhere near this town, make it a point to stay at this exquisite boutique hotel.

Azafrán Consuegra, hotel in Consuegra

Providing inner courtyard views, Azafrán Consuegra in Consuegra offers accommodations, a garden, and a shared lounge. This country house provides air-conditioned accommodations with a patio.

We arrived here expecting a quiet evening between spending a week in Granada and a week in Madrid and Azafrán Consuegra exceeded our expectations! Tucked in the heart of downtown Consuegra, this is a fantastic hotel that puts you in easy walking distance to everything. If you came to town to see windmills and the castle, you're just a fifteen or twenty minute walk from them here! Our host was super helpful, even though we spoke no Spanish. She was patient and told us all about the area using google translate, which we appreciated. The room was immaculate, and everything in it seemed brand new! The bed was very comfortable, the shower was hot with plenty of pressure. The room was quiet and peaceful... Exactly what we were hoping for!

Consuegra is a good location to visit the windmills and castle above the town and they are very well worth a visit. There is not a great deal of choice of hotels in the town and with the benefit of hindsight I would have visited the windmills and castle in the morning and then had lunch near the Plaza España at restaurant Gaudy which is absolutely terrific. There are very few bars in Consuegra and the only 2 we found did not open until 20.00 hours or later in the evening. While there are a good number of restaurants open for lunch they are mainly closed in the evenings, certainly during the week. To sum up, make it a day visit and stay somewhere else.

After a month in Spain and so many hotels I can say this was the loveliest place we stayed. The hotel is beautiful. The beds comfortable, the location perfect. The host was very helpful. The breakfast was very nice and well-presented. OJ was fresh. The patio for our room had a view of the windmills. I recommend this hotel wholeheartedly.

Interesting walking through the old town and the Plaza Espana. Also interesting to people watch along the promenade by the (waterless) river. Plenty of choices for snacks and drinks - almost like chiringuitos but miles from the beach! A drive or a walk up to the windmills and castle is well worth taking. Handy for dog walking too.

We went to see Don Quixote's windmills.

We went to see Don Quixote's windmills. There are 13 windmills along a ridge plus a castle. Its very photogenic. One of the windmills has been made into a museum and another a bar, which was packed with locals at 11 pm! Lovely. The Plaza Espana has a couple of restaurant/bars and there are other lovely restaurants around the town, some are very up market!

    The reception staff were excellent.

The reception staff were excellent. The room was very comfortable and well-equipped. The bed was exceptionally cosy. We also liked the atmosphere in the adjoining cafe/bar, which had a good selection of food for evening meal. Breakfast was only fair in terms of choice and variety of food on offer. Service was very slow and the waitress not particularly friendly.

A small town making a big effort to attract tourists . The castle and the one working windmill are well worth seeing , and we enjoyed walking out at night with so many lovely families . We found a good meal too by the old tower off the main plaza . The river sadly has dried up , but there is some excellent restoration work one of the old churches . All up authentic and charming !

Fantastic property with a view from the balcony of the windmills and castle at Consuegra. The property is very large, offers safe parking and is exceptionally well equipped and comfortable for a short or long stay. The bed in the master suite is very comfortable and blackout shutters ensure a good night's sleep. The road is very quiet. A selection of breakfast and snack food is supplied. Ma.Angeles met us at the property and explained everything. Highly recommended, we would be very happy to return.

Let's start with the welcome/reception. Unfortunately can't recall the name of the lady that was at reception, took us to the parking down the street, help with the luggage and was so friendly, attentive and helpful. She was fantastic and what a way to welcome us into Consuegra. The apartment was excellent, the view of the "molinos" was unique, room was very clean and well stock, with a wonderful and simple breakfast we had in the terrace.

When you come to Consuegra, this is the place to stay. Modern well appointed rooms and common areas. Excellent breakfast. Parking limited in garage (15 euros/night) or free on street in front of hotel. We took Room 7 which had a large private patio outside our room with a view of 4 windmills on the nearby ridge. The Director very accommodating and proud of his hotel. He sells an excellent red wine.

Breakfast was amazing, a rich assortment of homemade items. The hotel owner was very warm and provided alot of recommendations despite the language barrier. Location was good - quiet but within walking distance of good dining options and sights. Had the most amazing dinner at Taparias Gaudy on the recommendation of the hotel.

Consuegra was a logical place for us to stay on our road trip, but it is worth a visit for sure. On the outside the hotel doesn't look like much, but on the inside the room, lobby and terrace are all nice. Staying here made our stay in Consuegra really more special and for the price it is a great value.
