Great support from the owner who was always very responsive and committed to assist with our concerns and needs.
One of the rooms faces the street and the noise was intense at night. So he helped us moving to a quieter room and we had a great stay!

Reggio di Calabria is a beautiful and elegant city, largely dating from after the 1908 earthquake. Many buildings are in the elegant Liberty style.
The Lungomare along the Straits of Messina is a great walk with views of Sicily and Etna. It has huge magnolias and pretty buildings. You can watch the sun set over Sicily.
Via Garibaldi is a lively pedestrian street with many shops and cafes.
The Aragonese Castle is definitely worth a visit.

There was a lot of garbage in the streets.
There was a lot of garbage in the streets. Looks like it’s not collected very often which is a pity. Most pavements need to be redone as there are a lot of cracks and potholes. The main shopping area is very clean and well kept though. Trains are very punctual. Only had one delay but it wasn’t their fault as their was a fire somewhere. And only one hour delay so the train after that was on schedule.
One other thing, the evening train going to Lamezia terme on a Saturday evening was full of youngsters and the boys were extremely rowdy and noisy to the extent of making me feel uncomfortable even though I wasn’t traveling alone.

There were plenty of choices for breakfast, the room was a great size, the location was perfect, and the room had everything you needed and more. The bus stop from the airport was very close to the room. I had read it was possible to get to the city center from the airport by train but it seems that is not possible but no problem the bus was easy and very close. I would highly recommend this place. The owners were very attentive and helped make my stay a great one.
The owners were really helpful. Although generally Italians do not seem to know English (in terms of communication), nevertheless the owners tried hard and in the end we reached an understanding on everything! They answered any question within the booking app in minimum time. I needed a taxi very early in the morning, which was arranged for me immediately and without any problems.
I sureley would choose "La casa del cuore" again for my stay in Reggio di Calabria.
Cinzia was a FANTASTIC host. She made us feel super comfortable and was very open to help and advise about what we needed. Her place is VERY NICE: super clean, cosy and also with a beautiful decoration that makes you feel in dreamy Italy. From the terrace you can see the ocean and the volcano along with the stars at night. Cinzia, THANKS SO MUCH FOR YOUR HOSPITALITY and kindness. We wouldn't doubt to come back. :)
This was listed as a B and B but was really a self-service hotel with no on site manager. The manager did return all phone calls promptly. There is no daily housekeeping or towel exchange. It is every third day. So be sure to hang up your towels! Breakfast is off site with coupons. Our room had a cooktop with pots and pans but no refrigerator.
It was perfect to stay in this hotel. Very comfortable location, next to the hotel is port, its in the center of the city. Staff is very attentive, cute. Everyday houskeeping was cleaning room. Reggio Calabria become one of my favorite cities in Italy. I will back soon and again at this hotel
Thank you!
With my best regards, from Georgia.

The hotel is located in a quiet area by the Ionian sea. The host Donatella was kind and helpful. She served us a delicious and generous breakfast and offered us refreshments and a little present. These touches made our stay more enjoyable. We highly recommend Il Corallo Azzurro.
Ultra-convenient location. Amical and helpful staff. Quiet, cool room. Reliable wifi. Appealing breakfast choices. Decent parking for my bicycle. -- I've been touring the south of Italy for a while now and this was by far the best B&B I've stayed at. Not at all expensive either.
Our room was dedicated to Michelangelo with pictures of the David statue. Additionally, there was an art book about Michelangelo. We were really happy to have found a hotel with an artistic touch. Such big rooms and really comfortable. The host was extremely nice!
The staff were communicative and helpful. I enjoyed a very nice view from a private balcony. Breakfast is served at a café around the corner. The staff there were also lovely, and they had the best cornetti I'd eaten during my time in southern Italy.
The host Giuseppe was really nice and helpful. The location was superb for the airport. The hotel was very nice, clean and comfortable. We were given breakfast even though we were checking out at 4am.
The manager was very helpful and easy to contact, even at late hours. The room was clean and functional. The hotel is close to the port, very convenient for a stopover.
The manager was extremely helpful and went out of his way to accommodate us. The hotel is beautifully decorated and located conveniently to the train station.
The hotel is well located within a 5 minute walk from the Lungomare. It is a bit dated and could do with a refurbishment. Otherwise it was quite comfortable.
The hotel was lovely and clean room was nice and good breakfast and the staff were amazing above and beyond what you expect nothing h was too much trouble
