Situated within 5.9 km of Estadio Enrique Torres Belon and 5.9 km of Puno Port, Luz del Titicaca Lodge features rooms in Puno. The lodge was exceptional - location was exactly as we expected, remote but exactly what we wanted. The room decoration was exquisite - all done by hand by Joel's wife, and lent real character to the room. Joel went out of his way to meet all our needs, which was appreciated as the lodge is truly in the middle of nowhere. Views were spectacular from the floor to ceiling windows and there was also a great day bed and comfy chair on the patio. Our only regret is that we would have loved to stay another night as it was paradise. The bed was very comfortable and we slept really well. There is no internet connectivity due to the remoteness of the lodge and we didn't have a mobile service that worked in Ecuador - visitors should be aware of this, and bring books and other self entertainment as there is nowhere to go once you arrive, unless you arrange for a boat taxi to take you out. Or you should make sure you have your own mobile service for use at the lodge - there didn't appear to be any issues with the Ecuador mobile service itself. The bathroom facilities were good but water pressure was very low so having a good shower was challenging as there is no mains electricity. Also no charging facilities for phones so make sure they are fully charged before arrival. Food was basic but very wholesome and excellent vegetarian options were made available on request. It gets cold at night and while a gas heater was provided, together with great blankets and a duvet, we had to stay in bed to keep warm in the late evening. A lovely touch was the two hot water bottles to keep us cosy. Joel and his wife were outstanding hosts and we highly recommend anyone to stay with them - 3 days would have been ideal. Great value for money.

Only 50 metres from Puno’s Main Square, Tierra Viva Puno Plaza offers rooms with free Wi-Fi and plasma TVs. The Cathedral and Jiron Lima Main Street are 50 metres away. The location is amazing, just a few steps from the Plaza de Armas and Avenida Lima, where you can find good restaurants and anything you need. The staff was amazing, our bed was huge and comfortable and breakfast was good. We were able to leave our luggage in the reception while touring Uros. Overall very satisfied.

Set in Puno, 5.9 km from Estadio Enrique Torres Belon, Uros Aruma-Uro on Uros Floating Islands has a garden, a terrace and a restaurant. The foremost thing we liked were the family (Juan, Elsa and their amazing children). They were super kind and what they have build on their island is amazing. The typical boat tour was super interesting and de textile workshop was interesting, but a little expensive for what it contains. The food Elsa cooked was amazing and delicious. The room was better than expected. The view is great and the beds are comfortable.

Boasting a garden, terrace and views of city, Casitas del Titicaca Peru is set in Puno, 5.9 km from Estadio Enrique Torres Belon. This was one of the best trips that we did while we were in Peru, the rooms are quite big, they're very nice and clean. When we were there, it wasn't extremely cold, so we were fine with all the blankets we had in the rooms. Eder is a very good host. He runs the hotel with his family. He took us to show how they lived and what they ate. He also took us to see the community of the Uros islands, told us about their history, what they have been through, and they're going through as Uros people. He was so nice and kind like the rest of his family. The food... we ate one of the best fish (trucha) that we have ever eaten in our lives. My sister doesn't like fish, and even she didn't even leave a single piece on her plate. We had breakfast, lunch and dinner and all of them were very, very good. We were very satisfied with our stay.

Set 500 metres from Deustua Arc, Hotel T'ika offers 3-star accommodation in Puno and features a restaurant. The woman who runs the place is lovely and friendly, there is a good breakfast, comfortable beds, hot shower and good location for town.
