I live in La Plata so I come to Buenos Aires regularly for work and leisure, usually for a day but this time I came with a family member visting, we had two whole days in BA and found plenty to do. It is fairly simple to get around Buenos Aires provided you can buy a Sube and know how to laod it with cash. It's massive so make sure you have enough time to see/do a lot of it, I didn't but I hope to return soon. It feels safe and ubers are cheap and easy to get. A great place for people who like big cities as from what I've seen it has some similar vibes to New York.

Buenos Aires it is a spectacular city to visit. You should be careful at night, but it is pretty safe depending on where you stay. There are plenty of restaurants and shows and people is very helpful and attentive. To shop is great but now a bit expensive, try to ask on different places before buying. Anyway, a great place to visit, very nice. Florida Garden a very good restaurant and not expensive, (Ariel at the terrace was wonderful) its situated in "Florida" Street at downtown Buenos Aires (they call it "microcentro"), Puerto Madero is amazing, "Cabana Las Lilas" is an excellent restaurant, good value for the price.

Big city with lots to see. Could have stayed longer with so much to see, but I was already booked on a cruise, so it was long enough for me. Really enjoyed my time there overall. Glad I was able to spend a few days there prior to my cruise. Traffic can be congested especially from airport to downtown.
