I loved Limone Sul Garda; it was beautiful! However, be very aware of the terrain. You may reconsider if moving up and down steep hills and steps is difficult. Access to boat ferries was easy and made for a wonderful opportunity to see the beauty of Limone Sul Garda from the water.AAnonymous - 10Scored 10

The city has a wonderful location by the lake Garda and offers exceptional conditions for bikers and water sports fans. The bike path guarantees unforgettable panoramic views on the beautiful lake. The city provides intimate atmosphere and is recommended when you want to relax and admire the views, especially when your are exhausted after a day spent cycling, swimming or doing antything tiresome. It helps you catch your breath and enjoy the spot, the food and the people.

Very pretty little town.
Very pretty little town. We avoided it during the day as so busy with day trippers coming in on the ferry. By 6pm all day trippers gone and relatively quiet. Typical old Italian town - lots of pretty narrow streets. The best thing about Limone is the restaurants- if you do your research and go to the top rated ones they are excellent - every meal we had was outstanding.

I love Limone sul Garda. It is the 3rd time I have visited.
I love Limone sul Garda. It is the 3rd time I have visited. There are some lovely hotels to stay in. I especially love hotel Limone & hotel Mercedes. I am sure there are others though! I have just left on Friday 15th September. The weather was wonderful. I used the ferries a lot e.g Malcesine & Riva del Garda both lovely places to visit. Limone has a lovely old town with plenty of restaurants & bars for every price range & lots of little designer shops-especially shoes. I still have not seen it all. I especially loved the Bufallo restaurant where I ate kangaroo steak-first time ever. It was amazing food! It has a lovely waterfront & there are cycling trails around the area for the more active. I stayed at hotel Splendid as well- a lovely 4* hotel with 2 pools & a gym. I really love this town-its great! :)

Limone is the most beautiful, stunning place; so well taken care of, beautiful flowers all over the promenade and piazza's and so well maintained. Boat trips on offer all day every day, best restaurants and great leather handbag shops !!! This place is a must to visit but would recommend a stay there too; I have never felt so chilled on holiday before and cannot wait to go back. Limone is north of the lake so quite a distance from Verona airport however we booked taxis via Booking.Com and it was perfect. Taking a taxi was the best way to see the surrounding areas and had a great view of the lake once we reached Riva. Did an all day boat trip round to the south of the lake with 2 stop-offs at Sirmione and Bardolino - fabulous and a great way to see the lake at it's vastest!ElizabethUnited Kingdom - 10Scored 10

Very romantic place located near very nice lake and high mountans. At the same time it has very mediteranian feel which is something special. Everything is nice and clean. Abosolutely recommended place to stay for a few days

They have very nice and helpful staff, nice sorroundings (olive trees, outdoor pool,playground and table tennis), and comfortable rooms. Breakfast was good, tasty and fresh. We didn`t eat dinner there, so I can`t comment on that. We also got a free private parking. The centre of Limone sul Garda is also very close to this accomodation (only 10 minutes walk).
