I had a truly memorable stay at Hotel Lago Grey. The panoramic views of the snow-covered mountains are simply breathtaking and can be admired from the guest rooms, the restaurant, and even the reception area. The staff were exceptionally courteous, professional, and always ready to assist with genuine warmth. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the Torres del Paine area—it's a perfect blend of comfort, scenery, and outstanding service.

Robert was an excellent host, who also included me to hang out with some of his friends and family that were visiting him at the lodge. He arranged all my activities for me and was very flexible. Also the breakfast, lunch and dinner were great. It was more like visiting a friend than staying at a hotel.

Beautifully designed and well kept property. Can’t say enough about the staff and whole team that worked there, very helpful and nice. There was an amazing chef on the property that cooked using local ingredient, very delicious and elegantly prepared.

The bedding was very comfortable and warm with ample room in the tent. A hook for your wet towel after showering is needed. The parking was very close to our tent and the bathrooms were very clean with ample hot water in the evenings.

Epic stunning views! It’s a trip & many hikes worth making. Wish we could spend more time amongst the mountains and/or drive around exploring without having to worry about the lack of petrol station in TNP. The roads are mostly gravel with many many pot holes! Good to see sectors of the roads are being re-surfaced during our trip.

There are no shops or petrol stations near the park so stock up with what you need before leaving Puerto Natales. The hotel at Lago Grey has a decent restaurant that let us walk in - a nice place for a snack before the boat trip to the glacier (which was good fun)

    Postcard views in all directions!

Postcard views in all directions! Beautiful mountains, glaciers, turquoise lakes, wow! Hiking is superb, for all levels; there are short and easy hikes, and there are ultimately difficult and strenuous hikes that would challenge anyone. We did a bit of both (not too strenuous, but I hiked/ran up to the Mirador Las Torres and it was enough for me and I am pretty fit). I didn’t research Chile or Torres del Paine before we booked and I am totally blown away by the diversity of its landscapes, the good wines, the good food, and the good people here. Totally recommended..!

We did day walks not the W or O trails.

We did day walks not the W or O trails. Weather is a key factor and we had snow, rain and beautiful clear skies over 4 days. If doing the Mirador Torres be at the start by 8:30 or earlier. The v fit can do the walk in 7 hours or so. We took 8 1/2 , finishing around 6pm. We did shorter walks too, morning and afternoon, and had great views of the mountains and iceberg on lake grey.

    Torres del Paine too vast.

Torres del Paine too vast. You need a sturdy car not only to get to the amazing popular places but also to maneuver on some of the unpaved and gravel roads. There are few places to eat and hardly any grocery stores, so stock up on food before entering the park.

We had a very nice stay at Vista al Paine - Refugio de Aventura. Our host Oscar gave us a warm welcome and gave very good tips for Torres del Paine Park and other activities. The rooms were cozy (we slept well) and the view of the Cuernos was just stunning. At night you could admire a starry sky. The breakfast was also delicious and specially prepared. In comparison to the other expensive accommodations in and around the national park, it is a great value for money. We would book again at any time!

The staff were very welcoming and helpful. Very well located just outside the park. A good breakfast was supplied and there was a dinner option each night with three courses. The place has a fabulous view of the Torres del Paine and is surrounded by green space with a resident horse. This accommodation is excellent value for money and is not expensive. We were lucky with the weather, had a car and had 4 nights which gave us flexibility as to what we did and when.

The views from the hotel and our room were spectacular. From morning to dusk, just superb. The rooms were comfortable, bathrooms a little dated, but functional. Food generally good. Staff friendly and helpful. Location good for self driving to the Torres del Paine.
